Club Meetings

We hold a monthly club meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.  The meetings are open to both members and non-members alike.  It's a chance to meet new paddling friends, talk about old trips and upcoming trips and take care of any official club business.  

The official part of the meetings last about an hour followed by refreshments, entertainment and lots of socializing.  There are often short safety and environmental discussions and a chance to buy and sell gear.  We occasionally bring in outside speakers. 

One of our summer meetings is often a BBQ and in lieu of a December meeting we have the club Christmas party, complete with Santa Claus.

 Our meetings are held at a local sporting goods retailer, Sports Basement.  Sports Basement gives club members a 10% discount on meeting nights and once a quarter will give us a 20% discount on items purchased that night.

When 2nd Wednesday of each month (except December) at 7:00 p.m. This is a new, earlier time, starting in 2011. After the first traffic light take a right on a small street, Kern Ave.  It's the first building on the right.  There's a large parking lot just past the building. From Lawrence Expressway North turn left at the Arques Ave traffic light. Take the first right at the Santa Trinita Ave light.  Take the first right on Kern.  It's the last building on the left. Check the board as you walk in the front door to find the location of the meeting in the store.
